Hello all,

I hope you are all enjoying this fabulous sunshine (ignore the rain, it's good for the garden!)

All plans are in progress for our annual Tea Party - this Sunday 26th June - I hope you are able to make it!

Woodford Rugby Club Pavilion from 4pm to 6pm
we've got some interesting activities planned - for young and old!

It would be nice not to have too many cakes left over this year - people are welcome to take something home with them, should this happen!

We were up against the 'Football World Cup' last year - and 'Wimbledon' this year - but don't worry - there are big TV screens at the club and we can put them on if you'd like to watch it!!

Really looking forward to seeing you all -

Regards

Hazel Gadsby

Hello - It's been a while since the last blog - so, just wanted to show that there is still activity!!

We've got the next AGM coming up on the 7th April at the Rugby club - it would be great to get as big attendance as possible. We need to keep the HRA going, I hope you'll agree.

There'll be a few small speeches from your committee members and then the floor will be open for questions.

I hope you can make it.

Thank you

55th AGM Meeting

FIFTY-FITH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Association held on THURSDAY 22nd APRIL 2010 in the Woodford Rugby Club.
Quite a well attended AGM with plenty of discussion and new ideas. We'll do a newsletter to tell you more.
Thank you to those that could attend.
A huge thank you to Peter Larkin for being such an excellent Chairman, he has now stepped down from the post due to work commitments - and as we are unable to fill his shoes! we've decided to have a 'Chair-Committee' which will spread the responsibilities throughout the committee members.
We look forward to hearing your comments and questions over the next year.
many thanks.

PETER LARKIN OFF TO KUWAIT

I leave tomorrow to take up a fabulous opportunity as Operations Director of a Middle-East retail business based in Kuwait. I will be back at random intervals but in the meantime Paul Dawney, newly married, will take the Chair!

Please look after my wife Carolyn and my children Sean,Thomas and Niamh...and of course Dudley the dog...who are staying here for the time being.

It has been my privilege and pleasure to lead your association for the last 12 months and I believe we have done some good stuff!

See you soon
Congratulations to Paul Dawney and Nicky Clegg, 2 members of the committee from 35 Henrys Avenue who got married last Saturday!

THE WEATHER!!!!!!!!!

At long last the weather seems to be improving. I know all the children have had a lot of fun including a few extra days off school but it is rather nice to see the roads and pavements again. That makes me sound so old!

The roads appear to have suffered some more damage and Henrys Avenue will need re-surfacing..oh yes,i live there!

Roll on the Spring so we can see if we planted the bulbs the right way up

Snow clearance

If like me you are fed up with the lack of action clearing the roads and paths, what can we do or probably more importantly who do you know?

Fancy a snowball fight on Saturday at 12???
